Help!! My Firefox keeps being redirected to a website called MTC.MakemeSearch.com recently. One of my friends warns me that my computer may have been infected byMTC.MakemeSearch.com redirect virus. Step 3: Show all hidden files and folders. Click the Start Orb. In the search bar, type “folder options” and press Enter. Click the “View” tab, select “Show hidden files, folders, and drives”, uncheck “Hide protecting operating system files (Recommended)” and click OK.

Step 6: Reset homepages of your affected browsers.

Click Tools and select Internet Options. Under the General tab, delete http://mtc.makemesearch.com/ from the Home Page field, type your favorite homepage URL and confirm your change.
