Remove Searchy.easylifeapp.com Redirect Virus Thoroughly


I’m using Win7 OS and my chrome browser has been compromised with Searchy.easylifeapp.com which I cannot get rid of. I’ve deleted all the cookies and reinstalled my browser. It remains there. What can I do to remove the nasty thing? Please help me to work out a solution to settle the problem.

Searchy.easylifeapp.com is a fake website associated with redirect virus or redirect viruses. As soon as Searchy.easylifeapp.com is installed on your computer, you will see that Searchy.easylifeapp.com popups appear on your Internet Explorer, Mozilla Firefox or Google Chrome. They interrupt you when you are browsing the Internet or opening a new tab. The main purpose of Searchy.easylifeapp.com virus is to cheat users into downloading malware programs and promote some specific websites. It forcefully takes you to those websites to click on its sponsored links. Each time you click them you are making money for the authors of Searchy.easylifeapp.com. Apart from the problems mentioned above, Searchy.easylifeapp.com is able to collect information about users’ browsing habits. If your personal data is stolen, you will easily encounter financial loss or identity theft.
When users are visiting those websites, their preferences are recorded by the redirect virus. Step one: Terminate the processes related to the redirect virus.
1) Open Windows Task Manager by pressing function keys CTRL + Shift + ESC.]

2) Search for and terminate running processes related to Searchy.easylifeapp.com redirect virus by clicking on “End Process” button.

Step two: Delete the files associated with the redirect virus.
Delete the redirect virus files:
C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\~r
C:\Documents and Settings\Application Data\~dll
program_files
Step three: Remove the registry entries related to Searchy.easylifeapp.com redirect virus.
1) Press Window + R keys and input regedit into the box when the Run dialog box pops up, click OK to start Registry Editor.

2)Delete the registry entries related to the redirect virus:

Step four: Restart your computer to complete the redirect virus removal process.
Step five: Clear all the cookies of your affected browsers.
Since tricky hijacker virus has the ability to use cookies for tracing and tracking the internet activity of users, it is suggested users to delete all the cookies before a complete removal.

Google Chrome:
Click on the “Tools” menu and select “Options”.
Click the “Under the Bonnet” tab, locate the “Privacy” section and click the “Clear browsing data” button.
Select “Delete cookies and other site data” to delete all cookies from the list.

Open Internet explorer window
Click the “Tools” button
Point to “safety” and then click “delete browsing history”
Tick the “cookies” box, then click “delete”

Mozilla Firefox:
Click on Tools, then Options, select Privacy
Click “Remove individual cookies”
In the Cookies panel, click on “Show Cookies”
To remove a single cookie click on the entry in the list and click on the “Remove Cookie button”
To remove all cookies click on the “Remove All Cookies button”

To protect your PC from being infected with cunning redirect virus, you must pay attention to the way you surf online and be alert when you find the default homepage has been replaced by any unfamiliar webpage, or newly add-ons suddenly in the browser. The effective way for prevention is to get rid of the unwanted plug-ins in the browser. Then, restore the settings and build more self-protections in the system. In addition, scan every downloaded programs before installing it to avoid malware or virus mixing in it.
